Pollen Records is a small, independant label founded by Eric Collins and Josh Powers of The Subterraneans. The sole purpose of the label is to release and promote the music we create, along with the music of some of our close friends and artists we find to be interesting and unique. The first cd released on Pollen Records was The Subterraneans debut album entitled 'A Bellow Below’. It is now available in person, at shows, on itunes, as well as our very own secure online store. Our second release was the debut cd 'The Secret Life of Rocks' from Boxwood, which is equally as available. We have since released 5 additional albums, and currently have 3 more in production. Since this is more of a side project and not our main occupation, we apologize for occassional lapses in updates and products.

Where do you guys record?
In our apartment in Queens. Pro tools and /or Garage Band.

What are your bands working on?
We actually have 3 projects in the works. Lawn & Factory and SteaKnives are working on a split EP, Boxwood and SteaKnives made a few songs together during a recent trip to Florida, and something else that I'm not going to mention just yet.

Why do you update the site once every 500 years?
I know, unfortunately everybody has seperate lives outside of music so we don't always have the opportunity to work on this as much as we'd like :/

Are you in the wednesday night bowling league at the Gutter?
Um...maybe?
